Sometimes, Life is unpredictable. You wish for something, but you end up with something else...
I was going through a state of lack of confidence, a sort of depression and feeling unwell two days ago. I always prefer to behold a positive attitude in my Life. When I feel low, I always go in search of something which motivates me to bring back My powerful spirit.
So, I decided to work on one of my friend's photo album. All of a sudden, I could feel that mind, body and soul just transformed into a very determined state. Fortunately or unfortunately, the moment I start my work, my mobile got stuck and gradually all my precious photos, data and everything deleted by itself. I was shattered. I spent whole day to retrieve my data. But, ended up in desperation.
The day brought me another shocking news that my washing machine also stopped working. Wow! What a beautiful Day!... It took me a while to accept whatever is happening around Me. I got more sick, but still I never wanted to feel so depressed.
I requested Rengi to rearrange my reading room. Of course, he really helped me to give a new look to my reading cum prayer room. Arranged a small book shelf and removed the big table and chairs from the room. When Ammu and Rengi were arranging books in the shelf, I did notice a book , named "Home is Where The Heart is" written by Geraldine Cox.
Cover page shows a lady sitting and surrounded by 9 kids. I am strong on my maternal instincts which certainly influenced me to read through that book.
"Home is Where Heart is" the story of a woman who found her true purpose in caring for Cambodian orphans- the tragic victims of three decades of war and destruction.
Sometimes, giving birth of a child is not the ultimate scale to measure a woman's identity. Being a single or infertile, A woman can also experience her Motherhood through caring for the kids who destituted in the label of orphans. This book takes you from a state of Adelaide to the state of Cambodia... Great respect to People who serves the world with their beautiful and dedicated Life.....
Gratitude to Rengith Mathew for creating a beautiful ambience to my reading room, Sumi to reminding me about Today's importance and Gerald Cox to giving a good start in reading in the period of lock down....
Love
Karthika...
